The foundation of all foundations, and the pillar of all wisdom, is to know that there is a First Existence, who brings all existences into being; that all existences of heaven and earth, and between them, derive existence only from the truth of Its existence.
Circles & Lines
Description:
Between something and nothing exists... the excluded middle.
[!note] 0 1 is a spiritual mystery. 1 is the miracle we are part of.
The first principle, the fundamental overriding fact upon which all else stands, is the Unity of G-d. To understand, accept and internalise that All is One. There is no other.
1st Principle: The Unity of G-d
All is One [שׁמא]… One is the beginning.
s1: Nothingness (repeat)
Between something and nothing, exists No-thing.
No name, no word, no description, no feeling, no appellation can describe it. It is called the “Infinite Primordial Light”, perfect & balanced, “even in all directions”… As finite beings, we cannot represent infinite nothingness, but can only imagine it.
s2: Middle Point
Within this perfect nothingness arose a single point.
s3: Point expanded
For anything to occur, there must be a force that causes it. And this force always moves in a straight line1 (unless acted upon by another force).
When this point moves, it is represented by a line, which expresses a beginning and an end, and thus time arises. Once this line emerges, then it becomes a radius of a circle, and the circle, defining the space of the beginning and the end springs into existence. Now we have the space with its two defining compliments.2
We now have the point, the line and the circle (or plane).
2nd principle: The Binary Nature of Creation
For every this, there is a that.3
Thus we have the upper & lower, dense & subtle, close & distant, pure & impure, and the greater and lesser balance. These define the perimeter of the space in which we exist. This we refer to as two-dimensional (2d). Thus we have the two complimentary points, and the relationship between them. These are the two points that exist in a symbiotic relationship, one with the other, in that one cannot be without the other. Thus we have the two events and another force between them, like two siblings that emerge from the same womb. This we refer to as three-dimensional (3d). Once movement has entered into the space, we then have our fourth element, which we call time, creating the four-dimensional (4d) reality in which we consciously exist.
S5: Duality
The essential duality of our modern world is the wave/particle duality. Once it is measured or perceived/received, we then have an entanglement. Force is a vector that is always pushing outwards, expanding towards the unknown that exists somewhere else. Form is force that is attracted to the centre, seeking to maintain a dynamic balance, thus form is an expression of angular momentum.
Footnotes
The straight line represents the “shortest” distance—however that is measured, which depends on a number of factors, one of the important ones of which is your frame of reference, the other, your perspective, and a third is the manner in which the measurements are carried out, and the fourth are the assumptions that underlie your measurement. However that may be it this ideal is always sought, the perfectly straight line between two points (in 2d), whereas in 3d in might be a circular line. ↩︎
This is, in fact, an oversimplification. for in this context for the circle to emerge, the point extended equally in all directions at once. In other words, though there were an infinite amount of lines that extended from the circle simultaneously, we are better able to understand it ↩︎
