“In the beginning, Elohim”, created Heaven and Earth” (Gen. 1:1). 32 times He appeared during creation, 10 times He spoke, creating the world we know.
We called Him HaShem knowing no name would encompass His ineffable, undifferentiated Presence. No separation exists in the realm of Ayn Sof, Infinite Beingness. All we can describe are His manifest actions in our creation.
Elohim dileanated and defined human as His microcosm. Through the 32 pathways does His consciousness manifest – 31 spinal nerves, with the 32nd being cranial. This is the channel the Mind uses to control creation. This is the way human reaches the Mind.
32 is also the Gematria (number) of the heart, the place of the spirit acting in the body. When the soul leaves the body, the body dies, returning to its original state of dust.
