Evolution Theory
#Evolution
The theory of evolution is not incorrect. However, it is rather a progression from the simple to the more complex.
- In order for a body to manifest, cells needed to exist. Cells needed nutrients—which are molecular, and molecules are made up of atoms, which themselves are made up of sub-atomic “particles”.
- In other words, it had to built up from the bottom up, stage by stage—a carefully orchestrated sequence of events. The 1st stage had to be completed before the next stage.
- That is why it states in Genesis “Day one, the second day … it was good, the third day … it was good, etc.” That the ordinal was used, speaks of a sequence of days. That it was good speaks to the need for each stage to be complete before the next took place.
What the evolutionary scientists call a “successful” evolution, is those that survived. However, they do not really know why the one succeeded and the other failed. The answers we have found are most times clutching at straws, and ignoring the obvious exceptions to the general idea of the “survival of the fittest”—as evidenced by the peacock, or the giraffe… how did the giraffe know to grow two hearts?## Evolution of Creation
#dimensions/4d{.tag .is-dark}
As participating in the of evolution of creation, the angels were sent down to nourish and guide the consciousness of the original species.
We could take the position that G-d could have just placed these 4d beings in a 3d body. However, it is not so simple.
Firstly, in the realm of 3d, 4d is imaginative, and not well-defined. It is what we would refer to as the subtle realm. It is impossible to derive a 4d object from a 3d one, though it is always possible to derive a 3d object from a 4d one, just as we produce 2d representations of 3d objects in our daily lives.
As the 3d realm was the realm of the “reality” that was crafted, it is relatively easy to reduce it to 2d, and re-construct said reality by the accumulation of its 2d aspects. However, to construct the 4d object from the 3d perspective is much more arduous. It is possible to remove a dimension, but not to easily add one. One could think of it as adding or removing an infinity. [And as one knows, that even if we remove an infinite amount of finites from an infinite collection, that collection is still infinite. e.g. remove all odd numbers, still an infinite collection of even numbers remain. ] One of the most common methods is through motion, which brings in the element of time… thus time is often associated with a 4th dimension - which is not really an object, but a situation, an event.
If the original impulse was derived from an higher dimensional state, then it would need to reduce this higher dimensional state and stabilise it at a lower state, one dimension at a time. Perhaps 3d is the lowest stable and regenerative state that can manifest consciousness—perhaps even human consciousness? The ground state in which we as a species are able to evolve within.
Remember that in order for an object or state of dimension N, you need to have all the lower dimensions, namely N, N-1, N-2… all the way down to 1D for it to exist. In other words, to have 3d, 2d and 1d must exist.
#infinity
One needs to meditate on infinity at this point. As infinity is the state in which everything exists in potential, though the infinite can exist with nothing else apparently existing. For only when a element in the infinite set is called upon, does it then magically spring into “existence”. Take the infinite set of numbers. What numbers exists in that set? All the numbers, one could respond. However, where are they all? But simply think or say or write 210, and there it is! Could not thoughts of a certain nature also appear in a similar fashion? And could this not be similar to the thought of you or I in the Mind of the Infinite Creator…
Did the number in question evolve from the number 1, the beginning number, or did it devolve from infinity to arrive in that form? Every number exists in potential in infinity, but only manifests when called upon i.e. is observed. In the realm of finite numbers, one could say they all extend from the number 1.
In the light of this, to reduce an infinite dimensional state to a 3d state would take an infinite amount of steps. Thus it would be far more practical to start from a 1d state. But how to produce that? It would require the absolute opposite of the infinite dimensional state, which we call the state of nothingness. Another way of stating it, is to produce a state that is the “negative” or “otherness” of the original state. If that original state is a state of fullness—Infinite Beingness—then the opposite state would be that of Absolute Emptiness, Nothingness, Zero. Which is impossible in the realm of Absolute Fullness. Thus it was that only a small—relative to the infinite size—portion of that Fullness would be reduced to emptiness—perhaps only an infinitesimally small point, or an infinite amount of infinitesimally small such points—which would be occurring simultaneously as there is no time at this stage. And in order for those points of nothingness to occur, there needed to be points of finite densities to appear as well—each one of which would take an infinite amount of energy to produce. So, perhaps it was not that we arose ex nihilo, but on the contrary were formed from the Infinite Fullness, which would be a different fullness to the Primordial Form, which we might recognise as G-d, not HaShem, the Ineffable One, that existed previously to this Creative movement. Thus instead of the miracle of ex nihilo, one should refer to it as the miracle of ex Deo—that we are formed not from the Nothingness that is the essence of G-d, but from His Fullness.
The process becomes one of placing elements from the Fullness into the Primordial Nothingness, piece by piece, until it was fully formed. Like assembling a mechanical watch… On the table there will be nothing but the tools. In a box will be all the necessary pieces that have to be collated and sorted and then one by one placed into the empty space of the table to be assembled into some living collection.
That is also why the more “attuned” state would be one of emptiness. Out of this arises what we refer to as atheism, non-belief in the existence of any sort of Intelligence permeating the Universe. In essence, it is a form of nihilism. It is a perversion of “If the true state of the universe is nothing, than how can anything matter?” But why does Nothing change into something? In addition, how and why would something arise, if there was no consciousness, no need for anything?
If our goal is to awaken from this experience into a state of consciousness, what am I then, if not a conscious being. As the “universe” descends into material being, so the consciousness decreases. One could say, the more material, the less the consciousness. So a place of no awareness would be the beginning of our existence. But, if the source and material of our consciousness is not the same as our 3d reality, than how would it be possible to describe it in 3d terms? It would be like trying to see something microscopic without a microscope. Prior to the existence of said tool, one could not prove to the doubting masses that such tiny particles exist—and that they might influence our lives significantly. Like atoms, or bacteria. bacteria as an example.
In conclusion, realise that the spiritual experience, which is an experience and awareness of the Greater Consciousness and Wholeness that permeates everything is optional - requiring a certain effort.
Life
For as you can imagine, you need the exact 3d conditions for life to occur—just life. What we call the חיות, living beings, “beasts”, the animals, insects and vegetation that live in unity with itself and it’s environment. Building it up, 1d creates a space and is a position. 2d creates structures, crystals we could call them. 3d is sufficient for life, which has movement and certain reactions to the conditions it encounters, and environment that we find it in. It is “in relation” with its surroundings by being reactive/sensitive to them. This is something we have called consciousness, and it is conscious of being alive in a situation, and will react accordingly, but we need to differentiate this reactive, and learned consciousness from the other deeper and more instinctive consciousness.
That is what I refer to as 4d—the ability to be aware of things that are beyond our experience, abstract ideas, imagination, desires for things that do not exist.
For those who are empiricists, who term themselves “realists”—basing their cosmology on what is real in the material world—then this explanation will seem like fantasy to them. They still believe in the bestial nature of our experience and will, under the right conditions, behave accordingly—as we have ample evidence of. This is because there will be nothing that would prevent them from behaving according to the situation and environment in which they find themselves—what we would call conformists (or the derogatory “sheeple”). This is because they deny that there is any other aspect to our experience except the empirical, sensory one in which we live.
Limit of consciousness
However, if we trace the spiritual “evolution” from the Infinite Nothingness, the Void, to which we apply the No-Name, using the appellation HaShem, the (unpronounceable) Name, it becomes clearer.
It might help to think of this soul, journey that I am referring to, as a spiral, with circles within circles… In the words of T.S. Elliot:
We shall not cease from exploration#infinity{.tag .is-dark}
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
-- Little Gidding by T.S. Elliot
Due to our limited minds, let us imagine this soul journey as a line.
Being a line, it has a starting, though not necessarily an end, point. Let’s depict the start as One, the Beginning, and the end as Infinity—although infinity is not a point but rather a huge, wondrous concept that deserves its own section. For that reason we represent it as an arrow. Let’s just say it “ends up at/in infinity.”
Though when and how it separated from infinity and became its own finite event, is still a great mystery.
Now take end (point), this “infinity”, and imagine the largest, furthest, highest point you can imagine and use that to represent your boundary. Let’s designate this point as N, where anything beyond that point N this represents to all intents and purposes.
N is often called an horizon. It can be thought of as the final point of consciousness beyond which you cannot even imagine or conceive anything at all. Perhaps you could call it the “limit of consciousness”. As our Sages say, “Water cannot rise above its source”.
Chromosomes
This is a strange idea I had about the rib as being a chromosome. It was also based on the idea that women have only X-chromosomes, whereas the male is formed from one of the X-chromosomes becoming an Y-chromosome. If one created an Adam (male & female), would it not be easier to fashion it with all its chromosomes being X, and then, in order to introduce an asymmetry, change one to a Y - in essence separating the male and the female forms? This would mean that the original androgynous human Adam, would likely have been more female than male!
Here is a diagram of this idea, with a couple of ideas added in.
