Bonding is an essential quality of endurance.

Today we bring Yesod into Netzach. The manifestation of the balance of Hod and Netzach is at Yesod, the seat of the ego, the place of the lesser “i”, the identity with which we interact with our world. This is the Foundation from which our energies reach out to the world around us. It is also the foundation upon which we will build the vehicle that will receive all the energies that abound.

Yesod brings this Foundation into Netzach. Through our physical¹ form with which we experience the world, arise our sensations and perceptions that shape who and what forms we build. These, in turn, affect our very experience of the world. Netzach provides an appreciation of that which is behind the specific form of sensation; Yesod provides the avenue through which those energies will be able to act in the world. No sefirah functions without the others. They must all interact to form the great dance of Being of which we are a part. Yesod provides the foundation which Netzach needs, and Netzach provides the energies that Yesod requires for its own fulfilment.

We feel the inner Light that connects the right thigh with the loins as both these areas of the body come alive with the radiance of these sefirot.

In Netzach today we recognise that force within ourselves which enables us to continue with the daily work of survival and growing. This part of ourselves is in need of this force. In the rush of our living, we often fail to ground ourselves within the Foundation² which is necessary to have enough vitality to carry us productively through our days.

Yesod provides a foundation within each sefirah even as it provides Foundation as the seat of our separate self.

My energies flow more freely now than ever before. I bless the work I do in the world, breathing new life into my being. I now appreciate the work of my lesser self, the one that is the vehicle through which my life energies are carried into the world. I am alive.
