Today we bring Yesod into Netzach. The manifestation of the balance of Hod and Netzach is at Yesod, the seat of the ego, the place of the lesser “i”, the identity with which we interact with our world. This is the Foundation from which our energies reach out to the world around us.

Yesod brings this Foundation for expression into Netzach. From our physical sensations and perceptions comes our experience of the world. Netzach provides an appreciation of that which is behind the specific form of sensation; Yesod provides the avenue through which those energies will be able to act in the world. No sefirah stands without the others. They must all interact to celebrate the great dance of Being of which we are a part. Yesod provides the foundation which Netzach needs, and Netzach provides the energies that Yesod requires for its own fulfilment.

We feel the inner Light that connects the right thigh with the loins as both those areas of the body come alive with the radiance of these sefirot.

In Netzach today we recognise that aspect of ourselves which carries on the daily work of survival and growing. This part of ourselves is in need of this force. In the rush of our living, we often fail to provide ourselves with the Foundation which is necessary to have enough vitality to carry us productively through our days.

Yesod provides a foundation within each sefirah even as it provides Foundation as the seat of our separate self.
