Description:

Meditation for Day Sixteen: Balanced Judgement

Gevurah in Tiferet

Gevurah she'b Tiferet

הָיום שִׁשָּׁה עָשָׂר יָוֹם שֶׁהֵם שְׁנֶי שָׁבוּעוֹת וּשְׁנֶי יָמִים לָעוֹמֵר
ֹToday is sixteen days, which is two weeks and two days of the Omer

Restraint in Harmony

For compassion to be effective and healthy it needs to be disciplined and focused.

On this day of our journey Gevurah enters into Tiferet, connecting the heart and the left shoulder. This day is one of healing as we bring the sefirah of Limitation and Judgement into the sefirah of Compassion and Balance.

Into the Light of the Heart the great Limiter enters, giving form to the flow of expansive energy from Chesed, limiting its expression that it might shape itself in a balanced fashion in this world. This essential paradox of Gevurah produces energies of fear and shadow. Today we acknowledge even that fear within the Light of Compassion.

Do not deny the shadow side of your own being. You cannot pretend that the problematic aspects of your existence and your struggles for awareness do not exist. Those struggles exist within you wherever you go. Our task is to find ways to walk with our fears as allies, to release the energy bound by them.

Bless that which is in most need of blessing. Creation unfolds through the act of blessing that which is, and not living with that which is not.

All that is needed to support Tikkun Ha-Olam, the Rectification of Creation, is available to each one of us. The higher truth is that each of our experiences are that fit perfectly for each one of us. When we accept this, they are no longer forced to remain as they are; when we resist them, we feed them, prevent ourselves from changing. On this day, bless the emotional energies within us which are in need of rectification from our Greater Awareness.

Today I focus on clearing the darkness in my own heart space. With the Light I acknowledge the true source of my feelings, illuminating all the aspects of my life with special blessing. I embrace that deep inner Compassion from which I can heal and realise my essential wholeness.
